Ulmo This broadleaved component of the chilean native forest has wood of excellent construction properties. Both , heard- and sapwood has an uniform color . The wood has a smooth , even, fine –textured grain. The wood is strong and hard ,it is prized in the manufacturing of flooring, parquet ,mouldings and interior decorative items.
